ELAS welcomes into membership all who have an interest in or connection with education law, including lawyers, educationalists, governors, LEA and Diocesan officers, advisers, consultants and voluntary organisation officers and members.

ELAS is a limited company by guarantee.

The subscription for 2007-2008 is £110 for law practices of 11 partners or more and for LEAs; £95 for law practices of fewer than 11 partners, barristers, advisers, consultants and HE/FE members; £50 for charities, students,  trainee solicitors, pupil barristers, non-employed and retired members
