"Interesting and current issues arising in disability discrimination claims" - Ijeoma Omambala and Laith Dilaimi, Old Square Chambers.
Ijeoma has a particular interest in claims with a discrimination element. Ijeoma acts for a wide range of clients across the complete range of education disputes. This includes safeguarding matters and the potential for injunction proceedings in cases concerning allegations of serious sexual harassment.
Laith has a wide-ranging practice in education law with a particular interest in disability discrimination. He has written a handbook on discrimination law for the National Deaf Children’s Society. Laith has recently been appointed to chair Independent Review Panels of a London borough council in school exclusion reviews.
